1)As a designer, in what ways did you try to influence your client? A: The type of material used in the type of lake house that they wanted.
2)How did making the sketches when working with your client help the design process? A: The bubble diagram actualy worked better than I thought it would. It let me make a lot of changes.
3)What relationship do the various drawings & renderings have to each other? A: The rooms are in the same place.
4)During the design of the project, in what ways would you use your journal differently if you could charge your client for changes after the floor plan is prepared? A: I'd charge for certain material.
5)How did the existing plot plan limit your design? A: It limited how big the house could be.
6)What are some of the things you would do differently? How would you change the process to accomplish them? A: I'd use different wood & change the room size. I wouldn't change the process at all.
6)What impact will the property have on the surrounding area if it is developed? A: It will need a level area.
7)How do you know if your design is ready for implementation? A: If every thing seems to be fine.
8)How does the use of software & other tools aid in the development of an idea? A: Helps to know what you can and can't do.
9)What design ideas would you incorporate in your vacation house versus your year-round house? A: Better area size and location.
10)What is something you learned today that you did not understand or know before? A: How to do a window and door count.
